“BASANTA UTSAB 2016” ORGANIZED BY KSHANIK SANGHA AT SOUTH BHARATNAGAR

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 23^rd March, 2016: Basanta Utsav was celebrated at Siliguri’s South Bharat Nagar’s Kshanik Sangha Club Ground by the organizing committee of the Club. The program started at around 12:30 pm by the hoisting of the flag of the club. The flag was hoisted by the secretary of the club Mr. Susanta Sen. Other dignitaries who were present, were the former councilor of the Ward No. 24 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation Mr. Pratul Chakraborty, the outgoing MLA of Siliguri Dr. Rudranath Bhattacharya, former Vice president of the club Mr. Sankar Datta. The entire program was conducted by the club member Mr. Soumya Pratik Datta. In the main function, the items like the singing dancing were performed by the performers. The dance show was performed by the Nataraj Musical Troup. The program ended with an Aabir festival among the member of the club. At last, there was special lunch arranged by the organizers for the invitees. The club members and also the localities participated with much merry and enjoyment which made the social gathering a memorable for the participants.
